A Stitch in Time is very excited to announce the details for a workshop with Nicola Parkman of Hands Across the Sea Samplers.  The weekend will be focused on learning and will comprise of a series of lectures and a hands on workshop with a few twists thrown in
   

DATES: Friday, May 16th – Sunday, May 18th 2025

LOCATION: Grand Chancellor Hotel, Davey Street, Hobart, Tasmania

RETREAT FEE: $950.00 AUD*

$350 AUD Registration Deposit NON-REFUNDABLE

$300 AUD Part Payment due 1st September 2024 - Invoice will be emailed 7 days prior

$300 AUD Balance due 1st February 2025 - Invoice will be emailed 7 days prior

No phone, text, Messenger, email, social media commenting, or any other form of communication will be accepted as a request to register.

*Deposits/balance payments are NOT refundable unless your place can be filled within 3 months of the event.  Should you cancel your spot at retreat, any monies paid are non-refundable. However, the now vacant spot will be advertised. If we are able to fill the spot, we will then refund you the amount you have paid, minus $100 administrative fee. No cancellations will be accepted after 1st February 2025. 

You may book a deposit for more than one person.  If you do, please leave all attendee details in the notes section at checkout. 

In the event that the retreat is sold out, there will be a waitlist to put your name down to be contacted when a space is available to you.

  • Friday 16th May will commence with a welcome afternoon tea at 2.30pm and each day's organized activities will commence at 9am, with tea and coffee available from 8.30am
  • Each day's organized activities will conclude at 5pm
  • Dinner is included on Friday & Saturday nights
  • Morning tea, lunch & afternoon tea is included both Saturday & Sunday
  • The main stitching room will be accessible until 10pm Friday & Saturday nights
  • Exclusive sampler design, fully kitted is included plus lots more!

There will be the opportunity to participate in an optional Smalls Exchange on Sunday, chances to win door prizes, options for kitting up exclusive designs and more!

Whilst at retreat, there are memories to make and friends to meet and catch up with. We also have lots of fun and surprises planned. Hobart is a wonderful place, and whilst here, I hope you can take the opportunity to visit some of the world famous places in my hometown.  

A Facebook Group will be set up next week to allow everyone to connect with your fellow attendees and will be by invite only.

(Bookings for accommodation and any other travel arrangements are the responsibility of the attendee/s and not included in the registration fees.  A link to book a room/s with the venue hotel will be supplied by email once a deposit has been paid and your space reserved.  The hotel has blocked out the rooms with these dates for our event)
